Our Big Move..

I've been holding off on sharing this for awhile now, but I suppose it would be good to share since we are now 39 days away from moving. INSANE. In 39 days our family will be loading a plane to Costa Rica. Caleb is resigning from his current position here in New Ulm and taking an opportunity through YWAM at the San Jose base. photo rights to YWAM SJ* Together we will be working with their communications department and focusing on a ministry called Freedom Street . You can read more about this ministry here.   There is a link to their blogspot on that page however it is not currently working. I am personally hoping to help update this blog and keep it up to date! This is an exciting time for our family. We feel blessed that God has called us but also challenged to "let go" of the here and now. Its amazing how quickly life changes. Caleb will be heading the Media and Communications department. Axels Dedication

Yesterday We had our sweet boy Axel Dedicated. For us as parents, dedicating our child represents a commitment both to God & to our son. For me it means I am giving back to Jesus a very precious gift he gave me. Entrusting my child in his hands, knowing fully he will take care of him, through the good and the bad. As parents its a commitment to guide Axel as he growths, to know Jesus as his personal savior, and encourage him to have a REAL and live friendship/relationship with Christ. It is also a commitment to Axel to always put him before ourselves and love him with the love that christ has shown us. That is a heavy decree. We make these promises, fully knowing we will fail at times. That we will struggle as parents, we may fight and disagree, we may have tough decisions to make or not even know what to do. However, we are hopeful and trusting that even through all this our child will grow and remember our sincere hearts and our commitment to christ. In hopes that...

Winter Update

We had a warm day last week so we decided to take Axel out for a walk. It was short and sweet. I love his little bear ears and how he leans so he can see :) When we got back him and Dad read a book. Axel got a few new books for christmas from my friend Tara! He LOVES to have books read to him.  My Boy is Getting so big. Love him. It was also my birthday this weekend. Caleb Treated me the whole day.  Breakfast omelette. Flowers. gifts. Going swimming. Fancy Dinner. It was such a refreshing day.
