Our Big Move..
I've been holding off on sharing this for awhile now, but I suppose it would be good to share since we are now 39 days away from moving. INSANE.
In 39 days our family will be loading a plane to Costa Rica. Caleb is resigning from his current position here in New Ulm and taking an opportunity through YWAM at the San Jose base.
Together we will be working with their communications department and focusing on a ministry called Freedom Street. You can read more about this ministry here. There is a link to their blogspot on that page however it is not currently working. I am personally hoping to help update this blog and keep it up to date!
This is an exciting time for our family. We feel blessed that God has called us but also challenged to "let go" of the here and now.
Its amazing how quickly life changes.
Caleb will be heading the Media and Communications department. They are hoping to grow the ministry via different forms of media to raise awareness of Human sex trafficking in Costa Rica. Currently they are looking to produce documentaries to share at local colleges to encourage change within the country.
Caleb is extremely gifted in photography and videography so its exciting that God has called him to do amazing things with his gifts. The sky is the limit with the Lord.
I plan on keepin up my blog while we are there. As of now we are committing to a year but really have no set timeline for how long we will be gone. We are just trying to trust God to show us when and where.
My now almost 6 month old will be just 7 months when he becomes an international man. we even got his passport in the mail. Pretty hysterical. his little chubby cheeked photo is to die for.
So we are going from a private 2 bedroom house on a snowy corner in New Ulm Minnesota to a once coffee plantation now turned YWAM base in Costa Rica. We will have a small apartment set up of 1 bedroom and a small attached second bedroom. Our bathroom will be shared.

When I arrive I will try and take some better photos of everything to share with you all!
I am..
excited.
nervous.
overwhelmed.
blessed.
challenged.
But most of all I am encouraged. I am reminded every day by my Savior that..
all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28
Be blessed.
