Open House, Open Heart...

Its been a crazy week both good & bad. Thankfully its ending well! It was a long week of just dealing with normal stresses. Caleb & I have been house hunting and have been unsuccessful to this point. Gods really been putting on my heart "being obedient even when I dont understand" time after time. So onward we go.  Thursday we had some friends from our church over for dinner. I made burgers for the first time in awhile and most everyone seemed happy :) haha. Friday we got the joy of seeing family! Calebs brother Elijah & his wife and son (Jackie & Malachi) came to visit! We had Salmon, sauteed veggies and wild rice. Jackie treated us to some delish gluten free cookies. I had way too much fun with those! After dinner we did a quick tour of New Ulm. What a week its been! I'm so glad its Friday! the week has been especially long & I've missed my hubby. Happy to have him home for a few days. I had my ultrasound today and baby boy is measuring perfectly with the August 10th due date. I'm thrilled & feel blessed to know that he is growing well. God is faithful!  A cute profile shot from the ultrasound today! Precious, he has my heart already! After my appointment Caleb and I laid around for awhile and just caught up after a busy week. So happy to have him home :)  We decided to take a quick trip to Minneopa Falls in Mankato to see the newly restored bridge and the waterfall! there was a little bit of snow falling down but it was beautiful!  Caleb was saying how he doesn't want snow for his birthday (April 20th) and we laughed about how all I wanted for my birthday WAS snow (January 17th). Believe it or not there was no snow in New Ulm on my birthday. This Minnesota weather is crazy...

Its Monday, a new week is here. I'm loving the rainy days here in New Ulm but still wish it was a little warmer. Over the weekend Caleb & I had the opportunity to take the photos for our areas ECFE "Daddy Daughter Dance." Each Daddy & Daughter got a portrait to take home. Truthfully, it made me really miss working for Headstart! Here are a few photos from the dance, aren't they precious! Friday we went over to some friends & grilled out. I think I had the best steak I've eaten in awhile! Thanks Kyle & Christie! :) So now we're starting our new week! Tonight Caleb & I are going to look at 2 different houses! The one we really like (so far..) has a 2 stall heated garage, Calebs dream come true! If you know my husband, you know a large garage is a must! I'm nervous & excited. We're hopeful that if we find a house we love that God will make a way! Pregnancy is going great! Baby boy is as wiggly as always. We're still stumpe...

April 2nd and its finally starting to feel like spring. Its been a crazy couple months & I'm not very good at keeping in touch. I've decided to start a blog to hopefully help that! Gods doing so much in Caleb and I's life, I truly do want to share it! So, if you're interested.. Jump on board!   As many of you already know Caleb & I are having a baby! We just recently found out we're having a boy, which we are super excited for! I was really sick from November till about the beginning of March. I thankfully survived & am now doing much better! My due date is August 10th!  Other than that life is going well here in New Ulm. We finally are found a great church here called Grace Community Church & have been able to make some great friends! We've been praying alot about making New Ulm our permanent home & considering buying a house! We'll see what God has in store. How is spring for all of you? Hope you are enjoying the new season ...
