House Hunting...

Its Monday, a new week is here. I'm loving the rainy days here in New Ulm but still wish it was a little warmer. Over the weekend Caleb & I had the opportunity to take the photos for our areas ECFE "Daddy Daughter Dance." Each Daddy & Daughter got a portrait to take home. Truthfully, it made me really miss working for Headstart! Here are a few photos from the dance, aren't they precious!
Friday we went over to some friends & grilled out. I think I had the best steak I've eaten in awhile! Thanks Kyle & Christie! :)
So now we're starting our new week! Tonight Caleb & I are going to look at 2 different houses! The one we really like (so far..) has a 2 stall heated garage, Calebs dream come true! If you know my husband, you know a large garage is a must! I'm nervous & excited. We're hopeful that if we find a house we love that God will make a way!
Pregnancy is going great! Baby boy is as wiggly as always. We're still stumped on a name however. We're leaning towards one but i think the deciding factor will be seeing him. for those of you who didnt get to see a picture of the ultrasound here he is!
Love him, takes my breath away every time! As long as we're talking babies, My step mom Allison is due in 3 days! She has started to have contractions so my new sibling could be here any day! I'm blessed to watch our family grow! 
Dad returns to work today after his surgery last monday & stroke last sunday. Any extra prayers for strength is greatly appreciated! 
A quick update on Caleb- his latest excitement was getting "Adobe Creative Suite 6" an amazing gift from my step dad John to help towards Caleb & I's photography/videography & so on! he has spent the past day or so figuring out all the new features & FINALLY being able to finish a wedding video that he's had ALMOST finished for quite some time! We're really thankful & SUPER excited to move forward with that! 
this is so over my head :)

Messy house, missions & alot more!

So we are getting closer and closer to being settled at the new place, but lets be real.. we have so far to go. My main goal is to try and do dishes, laundry & keep us fed. Unpacking will come in due time. I have a handful of things i want to share with you so lets get to it! 1. I finally got Axels Cloth diapers! I bought them here.  They are bamboo flats & I am using bummis covers as of now! They are working pretty well. the flat is very basic. literally just a large piece of organic cotton/bamboo. I have tried 3 different ways to fold and not quite sure which i like best yet.  Trifold - Newspaper fold- Origami fold. I think I'm going to stick with Newspaper for now. I'm Still Learning..

In case you are wondering.. I am still learning.  When we make a choice to do something, to love someone, to take on a new adventure, to commit to a new job or to become a parent, we are learning . It seems nearly impossible to live life's experiences and not be absorbing something at some point.  Moving to Costa Rica has not looked like I thought it would. Not at all really. In some ways that's good and in some ways its been hard. It seems that in every circumstance I am confronted with, God reminds me that this is a learning experience , an opportunity to grow.  I have a lot of thoughts running through my head and not a lot of words being typed out. All in all I am thankful that although sometimes my plans don't look like Gods plans, I am happy knowing I am in good hands.  This is short but i wanted to just share a few thoughts and a few photos.  Lots of Love, Briana
