Catching up!

April 2nd and its finally starting to feel like spring. Its been a crazy couple months & I'm not very good at keeping in touch. I've decided to start a blog to hopefully help that! Gods doing so much in Caleb and I's life, I truly do want to share it! So, if you're interested.. Jump on board! 
As many of you already know Caleb & I are having a baby! We just recently found out we're having a boy, which we are super excited for! I was really sick from November till about the beginning of March. I thankfully survived & am now doing much better! My due date is August 10th! 

Other than that life is going well here in New Ulm. We finally are found a great church here called Grace Community Church & have been able to make some great friends! We've been praying alot about making New Ulm our permanent home & considering buying a house! We'll see what God has in store.

How is spring for all of you? Hope you are enjoying the new season & that you also had a blessed Easter! I was lucky enough to have my 2 younger sisters who live in Nebraska (Megan-17 & Taylor-16) here to visit! We took them to Minneapolis & to see the Mall of America!

The weekend didnt ended a little rough. My Dad has had some heart trouble in the past & had a stroke Sunday in the evening. He was taken to the hospital in Lincoln & had a stent put in one of his arteries on Monday. Although stressful, He's doing well now & It was really amazing how minor it ended up being.

So we are getting closer and closer to being settled at the new place, but lets be real.. we have so far to go. My main goal is to try and do dishes, laundry & keep us fed. Unpacking will come in due time. I have a handful of things i want to share with you so lets get to it! 1. I finally got Axels Cloth diapers! I bought them here.  They are bamboo flats & I am using bummis covers as of now! They are working pretty well. the flat is very basic. literally just a large piece of organic cotton/bamboo. I have tried 3 different ways to fold and not quite sure which i like best yet.  Trifold - Newspaper fold- Origami fold. I think I'm going to stick with Newspaper for now. This is my inspiration for my post today.  I am thankful for life in itself.  Im grateful for my ever growing family.  I am blessed by my husband, who reminds me to keep dreaming.  And I Am joyful because I have him to love.  Life is rich & full of blessing. I'm Still Learning..

In case you are wondering.. I am still learning.  When we make a choice to do something, to love someone, to take on a new adventure, to commit to a new job or to become a parent, we are learning . It seems nearly impossible to live life's experiences and not be absorbing something at some point.  Moving to Costa Rica has not looked like I thought it would. Not at all really. In some ways that's good and in some ways its been hard. It seems that in every circumstance I am confronted with, God reminds me that this is a learning experience , an opportunity to grow.  I have a lot of thoughts running through my head and not a lot of words being typed out. All in all I am thankful that although sometimes my plans don't look like Gods plans, I am happy knowing I am in good hands.  This is short but i wanted to just share a few thoughts and a few photos.  Lots of Love, Briana
