Messy house, missions & alot more!
So we are getting closer and closer to being settled at the new place, but lets be real.. we have so far to go. My main goal is to try and do dishes, laundry & keep us fed. Unpacking will come in due time. I have a handful of things i want to share with you so lets get to it!
1. I finally got Axels Cloth diapers! I bought them here. They are bamboo flats & I am using bummis covers as of now!
They are working pretty well. the flat is very basic. literally just a large piece of organic cotton/bamboo. I have tried 3 different ways to fold and not quite sure which i like best yet.
Trifold - Newspaper fold- Origami fold. I think I'm going to stick with Newspaper for now. If you're interested in this there are plenty of youtube videos to check out! Cloth diapering is a huge money saver! We have already spent more on disposables in the first 2 months than we did on our cloth diaper supply! On top of that, disposables create so much waste! It is estimated that in the United States alone, 27.4 billion disposable diapers are consumed every year. that is alot of waste! You can read more facts here.
2. My friend has decided to go into YWAM (youth with a mission) to do a 6 month missions training program. Some of you may be familiar with this, but I just wanted to ask you to be praying for her! Her name is Oriana & she is in Nicaragua. You can read about her adventures here.
Is there anywhere that God has put on your heart? Or any certain group of people? I'd love to hear! :) Hope this update brings you well. Lots of blessings from me & my boys!

3.If I've never shared with you before how much my heart aches for international missions, I'm going to now! Caleb and I both were in YWAM at different times and traveled/lived in multiple countries. The things you see when living abroad change you in ways that are forever impacting. If you read Oriana's last blog you get a glimpse of what I'm talking about. Someday Our dream is to go back into foreign missions & serve christ elsewhere. I like to keep a few countries always in mind to be praying for. My usuals are Madagascar & Bangladesh. Doing so keeps me humble & always reminds me how blessed I am here. Hopefully as time goes by I can share more of this with you! I am making a collection of images on Pinterest to inspire me for a "missions/prayer wall I'd like to do in my house. You can take a look at my page!
