Axel is 4 months old!

Its crazy my big boy is 4 months old already! I took some fun christmas themed pictures to celebrate.
Things going on in Axels world:
much more expressive
grabbing his toys
laughs hysterically 
loves to be talk to and be apart of conversations
Rolled over for the first time TODAY! 12/6/13
Finally can grab his toes!
He makes this curious face and turns his head back and forth when watching something!

I dont know what you call this look but i think its hilarious.

Axel is about 20lbs
25 1/2 inches long. 
happy & healthy. 

We are BLESSED.

Looking forward to seeing many of you for christmas!

So we are getting closer and closer to being settled at the new place, but lets be real.. we have so far to go. My main goal is to try and do dishes, laundry & keep us fed. Unpacking will come in due time. I have a handful of things i want to share with you so lets get to it! 1. I finally got Axels Cloth diapers! I bought them here.  They are bamboo flats & I am using bummis covers as of now! They are working pretty well. the flat is very basic. literally just a large piece of organic cotton/bamboo. I have tried 3 different ways to fold and not quite sure which i like best yet.  Trifold - Newspaper fold- Origami fold. I think I'm going to stick with Newspaper for now. I'm Still Learning..

In case you are wondering.. I am still learning.  When we make a choice to do something, to love someone, to take on a new adventure, to commit to a new job or to become a parent, we are learning . It seems nearly impossible to live life's experiences and not be absorbing something at some point.  Moving to Costa Rica has not looked like I thought it would. Not at all really. In some ways that's good and in some ways its been hard. It seems that in every circumstance I am confronted with, God reminds me that this is a learning experience , an opportunity to grow.  I have a lot of thoughts running through my head and not a lot of words being typed out. All in all I am thankful that although sometimes my plans don't look like Gods plans, I am happy knowing I am in good hands.  This is short but i wanted to just share a few thoughts and a few photos.  Lots of Love, Briana
