Living out the Joy of the Lord.

Please excuse my absence. This month went way too fast. I partially blame it on my teething 9 month old who keeps me busy. He not only keeps me busy but also blesses me with joy.

 I'm going to try and do a quick recap of the month. If I go too into detail this will be the longest post I've ever posted. So we will keep things simple.
I had a blessed and beautiful Mothers Day. Caleb treated me to a DELICIOUS breakfast.

I also got 2 sweet gifts, my favorite chocolates and a succulent. I have ALWAYS wanted one like this!

We spent alot of the day figuring out what was wrong with Axel. around 11 he started what was a 4 day stretch of a 101 to 102 fever.

And so the teething began. With his fever we decided to cancel our plans for dinner and hang at the base. It was a fun day spent snuggling with my grumpy baby and counting my blessings with my husband.

Caleb finished the Skate video which you can watch HERE. He did a great job, I love his creativity and really enjoyed watching him develop this video.
he also is starting a new project for a team coming from Texas this coming weekend. They are building 3 Homes of Hope houses and have hired Caleb as a personal Photographer for the weekend. We are excited as this has turned out to be quite a blessing for us. I'll update more on that in a week or so when its all said and done! :)
Axel is a Crawling maniac.

Busy, busy, busy. He has grown quite a bit and is now 9 1/2 months old. he claps, waves, does the whole E.T. connect pointer finger thing (strange), Dances, attempts to sings along to songs, pulls himself up on EVERYTHING and is walking with our assistance. He is DESPERATE to walk. He is still passionate about bananas..

 and of course his favorite things are Mom & Dad.

This was when we tagged along for one of Dads film sessions. :)

 His current best friend is our Neighbor Maylenn. They make me laugh.

Axel and I went out for our first event of Evangelism on Friday. We went with the Bible distribution Ministry to distribute bibles in Cartago which is about 45 minutes away from San Jose. The base here has a goal to have a bible in every home in Costa Rica by 2017. Its a beautiful dream and it was fun to be apart of. He made a few new friends as we went door to door. He especially liked one lady's old, deaf, blind and frail dog. It was precious.

Life is good. We are blessed. Living abundantly in the joy that God has surrounded us with. We are taking on the daily challenges of a teething feisty baby, the challenges of managing time for family, ministry and each other and just looking to seek Gods heart for today and the days to come.
