1 Week!

August was so busy, between being in Mexico, having our friends in Costa Rica for week and saying goodbye to life in Costa Rica for now. Now that I've had a few days to reflect on not only the past month but also the past 6 months, I'm noticing just how blessed we were over this time. Caleb and I cant put into words what we learned from this experience. The amount of trust, obedience and faith it took was great but the reward was much greater. Working alongside YWAM San Jose was beautiful and challenging.
Caleb grew so much as a photographer/videographer and we both grew so much in our walk with God.I learned a lot about myself as a mother and the importance of being aware of and taking care of my immediate family no matter where in the world I am.

Being home has been good. God reminded me early on when we were in Costa Rica that my home is in his hands, and that I'm safe as long as I'm with him (which is always.) That being said, I've called 4 countries home in the past 6 months. Wherever we were, after a busy day you would always hear me say to Axel, "Dont worry, I know your tired. We're going home soon." as we headed to where ever we happen to be staying. So now.. After being home for a week in Iowa, I am now home in Minnesota. It will be interesting to call a place home here soon for longer than a month or so :P.
So whats ahead? After a few months of praying about whats next we've decided as a family to move to New York State. God spoke to us about this back in July and confirmed a few times over. moving to New York has actually been the biggest challenge of faith we've had in the past 6 months. Moving to Costa Rica seemed easier than planning for this move. We feel a little crazy and a little challenged to accomplish this, but we're going.
Our goal is to be moved to Rochester NY by early October. We have a lot to figure out in the meantime. as you already know I'm 30 weeks pregnant! We want to move BEFORE the baby is born. We are hoping to get settled and leave a few weeks for Axel to adjust before we welcome a new member to our parker clan. We feel like God has asked us to go there in faith and continue doing photography and videography. Our hope is to work enough in the busy season (spring and summer) to be able to work more with non profits and missions in the winter. We have really seen how God can use media in a big way and want to continue doing that both here in the states and internationally. God has challenged us to dream big, for ourselves as individuals, as a couple and as a family.
We have quite of few things we need before we head to NY. Moving across the states is expensive and challenging but we have faith that if God has asked us to go then he will provide.
Once again- Thanks for being on this journey with us. I hope to see you soon.
Briana
