Long time no see...
Its been awhile since I've blogged, dont know how far to go back to update everyone so I'll just throw some randoms out there! Its been a crazy month of May, well its been a crazy year in general. God has been doing quite the work on our hearts.
This weekend we had my friend Tara's graduation. She's a beautiful girl! so proud of her! Bachelors degree in Health Sciences!
Its been..
Challenging.
Emotional.
Overwhelming.
& Exhausting.
My wise pastor Phil Schenck said something that really caught my attention today. It went a little something like this.. " Its a powerful thing to choose to follow God, but its even more powerful thing to do it his way & at his time." He was referring to Moses & how sometimes when we take matters into our own hands, even if it were a God focused thing, we end up in the "wilderness." Sometimes we get so caught up on the idea that we forget there is a time and a place for it and maybe that just isnt now. You may have had all the right intentions and it may have been a "Godly" thing but since its out of his timing it just doesnt work.
So thats my greatest challenge these days. Taking one day at a time so as not to miss a step. stop focusing on 20 steps ahead and stressing about getting there. Im just ok with here.
Some other news on us.. we are looking into another house.. we'll hopefully hear back sometime this week. Its a small fixer upper here in New Ulm. Cute with lots of character and just needs love. We would be thrilled to have a place before the baby comes, Lord willing.
My due date is getting closer & closer. I am getting so IMPATIENT! I am so excited to meet this precious boy! I'm 28 weeks and just starting my 3rd trimester. Healthy as a horse.

We are finally taking a vacation this coming weekend. Heading up to the parker family cabin by Woman Lake! I am so excited to get away, enjoy some peace & quiet, enjoy nature and of course my lovely husband.
Hope you all are doing well. Hopefully this coming memorial weekend will bring lots of fun for you & your family. Praying that if you're traveling that you'll be safe & not go broke off gas prices ;).
Lots of love-
