Monday Confessions/More Travels!
We once again had a long weekend-Our dear friends Isaac & Rebecca Got hitched on friday,
Family day on Saturday(back home at my parents & In-laws)
and then a house warming/gender reveal party at my brother & sister in laws, Jackie & Elijah!
Jackie & Elijah are great hosts. it was a great time with family & friends. Relaxing & enjoyable! They had appetizers & then apple pie & hot apple cider! My favorite! :) They are having a boy! In total we will have 4 cousins (all boys) on the parker side. Should be interesting! Overall the weekend was good but I'm glad we're home. This traveling stuff is wearing.

Monday Confession. Im not happy to confess this one.
My bible is starting to collect dust.
I take that back. My Bible has large dust bunnies on it.
Its become a lovely piece of decoration with my journal on the back of my couch.

My life to a T --(unfortunately.) |
I am so lacking in discipline. Haven't touched that thing in awhile. I could use the excuse of a long pregnancy with lots of sickness & now a colicky baby, but really I'm just not prioritizing.
So here is to a new monday, a new week, a big hallelujah because God has such grace & a new attempt to seek him more. I've been reading & re-reading Nehemiah. Trying to dig deeper & learn from his life & dedication to prayer.
What are you reading? Do you have a daily routine? I'd love to hear!
Lots of blessings.
Love you all <3

I feel the same way! So hard for me to find....errr, make the time for Bible reading/quiet time with a toddler and big house to clean! Thanks for the encouragement to dig in :)
ReplyDeleteI hear ya! my house is a disaster on top of that & I need to start packing!
DeleteI keep going back to the book of James and 2 timothy... so much wisdom for my young mind. <3 I read out loud a chapter of a book called The Power of a Praying Woman to Abram everyday at his 11am feeding before nap (Yes I am STILL nursing ahh!) But, on the crazy crazy days- I just listen to a lot of sermons, like greg laurie from harvest and have a constant stream of praise music. it's a lot easier to have open ears when taking care of a little one.
ReplyDeleteso inspirational Azia! I want to start reading to Axel. James is GREAT. something i read over & over again In YWAM! love it!
